The short version
- No AI reads your email. Filing uses who sent a message, not what it says.
- The same sender, the same folder. All of a client's or supplier's mail ends up in one place.
- A fraction of the price. £5 a mailbox a month plus VAT, against US$49 a person a month for Fyxer Pro.
- Shared mailboxes on Business. Fyxer's help centre says shared mailboxes aren't supported. Sortfully's Business plan files them.

Why people choose Sortfully
Filing without an AI reading your mail
Fyxer reads each email so its AI can categorise it and draft a reply. For some firms, putting client email through AI isn't allowed; for others it's simply not wanted. Sortfully never reads message bodies and has no AI at all, so there's no AI to assess or opt out of.
Organised by who it's from
Fyxer sorts by what a message seems to be, such as To respond, FYI or Marketing. Unless you add your own sender rules, mail from the same client can land in different categories. Sortfully files by sender from the start, so everything from one client, supplier or service is together, which is how most people look things up.
A focused tool at a focused price
Fyxer is a full assistant, with meeting notes and scheduling, priced to match. If what you need is a tidy, sorted mailbox, Sortfully does that job for £5 a mailbox a month.

Questions
Does Sortfully use AI?
No. There's no AI model, no machine-learning classifier and no language model anywhere in Sortfully, and your mail is never sent to an AI service. Filing follows plain rules: your own overrides first, then the organisation that sent the message.
Is Sortfully like Fyxer?
They overlap only in sorting. Fyxer is an AI assistant that categorises mail by type and drafts replies. Sortfully files mail into a folder for each organisation that sends it, with no AI. It doesn't write replies.
What can Sortfully see?
The details it needs to file mail: who sent a message, which folder it's in, when it arrived, whether it's been read, its Outlook categories and technical IDs. It also reads your folder names and Outlook rules. The subject line and sender address are saved to your activity log too; that's on by default and can be switched off, and on a team, admins can see it. Message bodies and attachments are never read; the code is built to refuse them.
Will Sortfully delete my email?
No. Sortfully moves or tags mail, and any filing can be undone from your activity log. Its code blocks deleting messages, and it never moves mail to Trash or Deleted Items. The only thing it ever removes is a folder that is already empty.
Where is my data stored?
Sortfully is run by a UK company and hosted in Germany, with encrypted backups in the Netherlands. There's a published Data Processing Agreement and list of sub-processors.
How much does Sortfully cost?
Standard is £5 per mailbox a month, or £50 a year. Business, which adds team management, is £9 per mailbox a month, or £90 a year. Prices exclude VAT. New customers get a 14 day free trial, no card required.
